This week, the volume of agentic payments—autonomous transactions executed by AI agents—reached a three-month high. Data from Finbold reveals that 672,800 transactions were processed on the Base network on June 10, marking a sharp increase from previous months.

The x402 payment standard, developed by Coinbase and now overseen by the Linux Foundation, has experienced a 321% rise in activity over the past three months. This surge stands out compared to the 159,600 transactions recorded on March 13.
