The rapidly evolving realm of AI infrastructure is taking center stage as Exascale Labs Inc. partners with Compal Electronics, Inc. to unveil an integrated solution at COMPUTEX Taipei 2026. Scheduled from June 2 to 5, this premier event in Taiwan will showcase how the collaboration addresses the growing demands of AI workloads through improved compute and cooling technologies.

A Comprehensive Solution

Exascale and Compal are joining forces to create a complete AI data center solution. This partnership combines Compal's advanced AI server platforms, such as the OG231-2-L1 and SGX30-2 systems, with its innovative Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technology. These servers are optimized for AI model training and inference, meeting the high-performance needs of modern AI applications.

Dr. Hoansoo Lee, CEO of Exascale Labs, shared his perspective on the partnership: "Compal builds some of the most advanced AI servers in the industry, and Exascale builds the modular, high-voltage infrastructure designed to power them at scale." This collaboration enables customers to transition from order placement to operational AI capacity within months, significantly cutting down the usual wait time while maintaining performance.

Addressing Power and Cooling Challenges

The partnership extends beyond just server technology. Compal’s DLC systems effectively manage the heat produced by high-power GPUs, which is essential for sustaining optimal performance in dense rack environments. Simultaneously, Exascale’s Modular Data Center (MDC) integrates power, cooling, and networking in a factory-built unit, enhancing deployment efficiency.

Exascale will also present its HVDC/SST power architecture, which boosts energy efficiency by reducing conversion stages. This innovation not only simplifies the power infrastructure but also maximizes usable space within data centers for additional GPU racks, increasing revenue potential for operators.

Alan Chang, Vice President at Compal, stressed the importance of innovative solutions amid rising AI workload demands. He noted, "AI workloads have pushed rack-level power and thermal requirements into territory that demands fresh thinking on both the server and the facility." The collaboration aims to provide a streamlined, deployment-ready infrastructure that meets these challenges directly.

Looking Ahead to COMPUTEX

The integrated AI infrastructure solution will be featured at Compal’s booth (number M0804) during COMPUTEX. Attendees can expect live demonstrations of the solution and opportunities to engage with technical teams from both companies. This event marks a significant milestone for both Exascale and Compal as they work to redefine the future of AI data centers through collaboration.

As Exascale prepares for growth, it is also on track to become a publicly traded company following its merger with D. Boral ARC Acquisition I Corp. The anticipated transaction, expected to finalize in the latter half of 2026, will cement Exascale's position as a dedicated player in the AI infrastructure market. The combined entity will operate as Exascale Labs Holdings Inc., aiming to list on Nasdaq under the ticker XLAB.

The partnership between Exascale and Compal underscores the industry's pressing need for innovative infrastructure solutions that can support the expanding AI ecosystem. As AI continues to influence various sectors, collaborations like this will be essential in addressing the demands for efficiency, scalability, and performance in data centers around the globe.
