RapDev has introduced the Agentic Platform Operator (APO), a managed service designed to enhance the operation of ServiceNow environments with AI agents. This solution enables enterprises to offload operational tasks while retaining complete control over policy and decision-making processes.

APO marks a notable shift from traditional management methods, which typically require engineers to manually handle every request and configuration. This platform deploys AI agents that can analyze incoming requests, authorize actions based on established policy rules, execute changes, and prepare promotion packages for engineers’ review. This efficient process operates within a structured and auditable framework, allowing organizations to benefit from AI support without sacrificing oversight.

Kyle Brueckner, Senior Engineering Manager at RapDev, highlighted that APO is more than just an AI assistant; it serves as a complete operator that manages the entire operational loop. "Our agents run the full loop of discovery, execution, promotion, documentation, and every single action passes through a policy boundary before anything touches a customer's environment. That means your team gets the leverage of AI without giving up control," he stated. This capability effectively merges advanced technology with the governance that enterprises require.

Enhanced Operational Insights

Accompanying the Agentic Platform Operator is a feature called Vitals, which scans a customer's ServiceNow instance during onboarding and conducts ongoing health checks. This functionality offers immediate visibility into platform health and operational performance, continuously streaming telemetry data to Datadog against published service level objectives (SLOs). Each deployment operates in a dedicated namespace, with scoped secrets and individual AI keys, ensuring customer environments remain isolated and secure.

Tameem Hourani, Founder of RapDev, emphasized the extensive operational expertise developed within the company. "We have spent years building deep operational expertise in ServiceNow for some of the most demanding enterprise environments in the world. Agentic Platform Operator takes that expertise and operationalizes it at a scale that simply isn't possible with a human-only delivery model. This is what the next generation of managed services looks like." This statement reflects the ambition behind APO, as it aims to redefine the relationship between enterprise management and AI automation.

Aiming for Scalable Governance

The launch of APO is part of RapDev's broader strategy to create AI-native solutions that enhance core functionalities of enterprise platforms while meeting governance requirements. This initiative builds upon the company’s existing portfolio of AI offerings, including Arlo, an agentic AI assistant tailored for ServiceNow. The goal is to promote autonomous and policy-driven AI operations across various enterprise functions, facilitating scalability without compromising control.

As organizations seek ways to leverage AI in their operations, the Agentic Platform Operator emerges as a vital tool for managing technological complexity. By enabling enterprises to utilize AI while maintaining oversight, RapDev addresses a significant need in the evolving field of enterprise management. The success of this platform could set a benchmark for future developments in AI-driven operational solutions across multiple sectors.
