Transportation agencies are set to reclaim control over their AI systems with the launch of FlowMCP, an innovative interface introduced by Flow Labs at the ITS America 2026 Conference & Expo in Detroit. This new product connects agencies' existing AI agents to Flow's traffic management platform, enhancing operational efficiency while allowing for greater autonomy.

FlowMCP is the first agent-agnostic Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface for traffic management. This means authorities can maintain their own AI systems without being tied to a single, proprietary solution.
