In a major step to enhance its global AI infrastructure, TensorWave has secured $350 million in Series B funding, responding to the growing demand for scalable AI compute solutions. This funding round, co-led by Magnetar and AMD Ventures, is crucial for the Las Vegas-based company as it looks to expand its capabilities in a rapidly changing AI environment.

Expanding AMD-Powered Infrastructure

TensorWave specializes in high-performance, memory-intensive workloads, operating one of the largest AMD-based AI training clusters in North America. The new capital will play a key role in deploying next-generation AMD Instinct™ MI355X GPU clusters, designed for demanding applications like large language model training, high-throughput inference, and generative AI tasks. This infrastructure will offer companies a valuable alternative to the increasingly constrained GPU supply chains.

Currently, TensorWave has 8,192 AMD Instinct MI325X GPUs online and is expected to expand operations, preparing for larger MI355X deployments across new data center regions in North America. The company has also secured over 2 gigawatts of long-term data center capacity to meet the rising needs of enterprise clients, research institutions, and AI-native businesses.

Meeting Enterprise Demand

As enterprises shift from AI experimentation to production, the need for sufficient computational resources is intensifying.
