Anthropic Invests $150 Million to Embed AI Talent in Nonprofits

Anthropic's newly launched Claude Corps program is set to invest $150 million to embed AI talent within nonprofit organizations, aiming to address a shortage of technology skills in sectors that provide essential services. Anthropic's approach addresses a pressing issue: many nonprofits serving vulnerable populations, such as food banks and veteran support programs, do not employ AI engineers. To qualify, candidates must be over 18 and have less than two years of full-time work experience, regardless of their educational background. Beyond the initial rollout, Anthropic has ambitious plans to expand the program.
