Tribal has successfully raised $10 million in a seed funding round, a strategic move intended to bolster its enterprise-native AI platform, which focuses on the deployment of context-aware AI agents within complex enterprise systems. This funding round, led by Team8, included participation from DYDX Capital and several angel investors with significant backgrounds in enterprise software, especially those connected to the Salesforce ecosystem.
The financial backing will support Tribal's efforts to integrate its platform with major enterprise software ecosystems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, NetSuite, and Workday. This initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at accelerating hiring and growth initiatives across the United States.
Founded by former executives from Salesforce, Wix, and Spot.io, Tribal aims to tackle the challenges of deploying AI in enterprise environments. Unlike many existing AI coding tools that struggle due to a lack of organizational context and production-ready capabilities, Tribal’s approach centers on its proprietary "Metadata Fabric." This technology effectively ingests and maps the metadata layer of enterprise systems—covering automations, permissions, dependencies, and business rules—allowing its AI agents to create workflows and applications that are inherently linked to the enterprise infrastructure rather than merely overlaid.
Aligning itself with Salesforce's initiatives towards headless, agent-first enterprise architecture, such as Headless 360 and Agentforce, Tribal’s platform is built to ensure that AI agents can operate safely within highly customized environments. By incorporating governance and testing into the deployment process, Tribal seeks to reduce the risks associated with AI implementation in large organizations.
The founding team includes CEO Yoav Kolodner, a former VP of Engineering at Salesforce; COO Yakir Daniel, known for his work with Spot.io and Swordfish; and CTO Lior Sidi, who has led AI initiatives at Wix. Under their leadership, Tribal reports that enterprises using its platform experience faster deployment cycles and lower maintenance burdens. Clients like ADAMA and Pro-Driven Brand have noted improvements in deployment speed, operational efficiency, and a decrease in technical debt.
In a statement, Tribal highlighted the need for enterprises to move AI from experimentation to delivering tangible, repeatable impacts within their business applications and workflows. The company’s team, with extensive experience in enterprise technology, is well-positioned to assist organizations in achieving this objective. CEO Yoav Kolodner emphasized the urgency: “The shift to headless enterprise infrastructure is real and accelerating. But infrastructure without organizational context is just plumbing. This $10M lets us go deeper on the product and build the intelligence that will make Enterprise AI tick.”
As the field of enterprise technology evolves, Tribal's focus remains on building a foundational infrastructure for enterprise-native AI systems. This infrastructure is designed to function securely and reliably within various enterprise software environments, positioning Tribal as a key player in the AI-driven transformation of enterprise operations.
